About
Amara Simmons has always fantasized about having two lovers but believes it is just that: a fantasy. She likes her men “gifted”, if you know what I mean. At the suggestion of a friend she registers for an online dating website for well-endowed men called betterthan8.com. She believes nothing will come of her site membership but after months of flirting online via email and instant messaging, she’s shocked to discover that she’s fallen for a gorgeous Latin man that has the potential to be her everything – except he never calls and she has no idea why. Nursing a broken heart she is totally unprepared to meet her would-be Latin lover in person much less at the negotiation table of a multi million-dollar real estate deal. In Puerto Rico, passion ignites. Promises are finally fulfilled and the lines of reality blur when her fantasy finally blooms to life. Can Amara have it all: the deal, the man, and the fantasy?
Review
This book was different, it was interesting. I liked how it wasn't all about the obvious. Not based purely on the sex scenes. There was the work aspect of the book, where the main character, Amara, is a buisness woman. Her work is described well and feels like the base of the book. Although, the plot of the website was also interesting. I like how the author chose something current, using a website to meet someone, it happens and it's realistic. With a mixture of her job and chats with the mysterious man she meets on this website, this book seems like it's going in a basic direction. But then, things start to kick off, it starts to get moving and things fall into place for the big finale, which is, in my opinion, full of eye widdening wonder. I didn't expect that ending, it being one that i think many readers will enjoy. All in all i enjoyed this book, for the amount of pages, a lot happens and the characters do stand out. It's easy to relate to them and they are described well. The sex scenes are vivid and thrilling, giving the reader exactly what they want from this genre. I know i didn't give this a huge rating, but it's good, give it a try and check out this author. This was an interesting debut and i will be checking out her other books.
